Big Boy Bed - Update
Ok, so the first two nights that Jayson slept in his big boy bed he had fallen asleep in the car and I had to carry him inside and put him in bed. Well... tonight marks the first night that Jayson was given his bedtime routine (diaper change, prayer, loves and hugs, etc) tucked in his bed, still awake and told goodnight. He was asleep in less than 20 minutes! He didn't try to get out of bed once, nor did he cry! I am so excited, I just don't know what to do with myself! I don't want to get my hopes up too high and then he decide that he doesn't like the big bed anymore, but I just love being a part of these milestones in his life and they make me so giddy - I could almost pee! hahaha...

Big Boy Bed!!
When Nick and I were doing the spring cleaning, we had to set up a bunkbed in the office (for company coming this month) and move the twin bed that was in there originally, into Jayson's room. Since we were putting it in his room anyway we decided to let Jayson sleep on it and see what he thought about it. Well, last night he fell asleep in the car on the way home and so I brought him in and layed him in his big boy bed, tucked him in tight, put a pillow on the floor (just in case!) and rolled up a blanket on the edge of the bed under his blanket to create a sort of.. barrier or mountain so he couldn't roll off. He woke up a little as I layed him down and he looked confused and worried, but after looking around for a few seconds, he put his head down on the pillow and starting nodding his head while saying "ya, ya". So he was approving of me putting him in his big boy bed LoL.
He looks so small in that big bed!

He is all tucked in and even has his bunny and fuzzies close by =)

He woke up once, around 1am, but he was just thirsty. After he drank from his sippy he went right back to sleep. Then at 9am he woke up and all was well! He didn't roll out of bed and he slept mostly through the night. He was excited to see that he had slept in his big boy bed! It made me so happy, it was like Christmas as a child. I was so excited to wake up in the morning to see how he did!! I am so proud of our little man, he is getting so big and making life so much fun!

Spring Cleaning =)
Well, since moving into the house a lot of stuff has been tossed into the garage until it could be put in its proper place. It was getting pretty full, so this weekend Nick, me and Jayson worked on getting rid of the excess and I must say it is looking pretty good! I was going to take before and after pictures, but I forgot haha. Jayson did pretty well playing along side us in the garage while we worked. I got a couple cute pictures of him and Nick during our adventure.
Here is Jayson and Daddy playing with Daddy's old drum sticks and drum pad. They were sounding pretty good = )

Here they are again, this time taking a rest on the tailgate of Daddy's truck. How cute are my boys, really?!
Even though we were tired, dirty and had crunchy cockroach guts on our socks... It was a wonderful day because we got to spend it together =) Although, I really could have done without stepping on that old, dead cockroach! EW!!!

A few more pictures =)
I wanted to add a few more pictures since we don't have a recent one of Nick and I and the last ones of Jayson didn't show his face well. So enjoy!
This is the little man in the tub with some crazy hair (mommy was having fun).

This looked like Jayson was doing his best 'Little Mermaid', but he was actually 'swimming'.

MOHAWK! hehe again, mommy was having fun. We have since cut his hair as you can see in the pictures from the last post.

Jayson wearing daddy's hat. He put it on himself, backward even.

Ok, this is the most recent family picture, taken January 1st. It is a little grainy-looking because of the way it was edited. I copied it from our photographers website. We are having issues with the disc she gave us of the originals, so for now this will do.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the few pictures I posted. Once we get the new disc of our family pictures I will be posting more.

I feel it is time to update a bit more in depth than the last time I posted so here goes...
Nick is no longer with Nissan as a service writer, he is now with Toyota as a service writer =) He randomly received a call in August or September from a manager there who asked him to come by on his lunch break to have a talk. Nick was obviously very curious what it was all about so he went on over later that day and was offered the job after an impromptu interview. Turns out, Toyota was looking for a new service writer and the parts manager, who frequently worked with Nick when he needed Nissan parts for his customers, told them they needed Nick. We are so blessed to have this opportunity put into our laps. The pay is better and Nick really enjoys working with the people there. He comes home in a much better mood!! I am so thankful for this change!
I still stay home with Jayson full-time and am thankful we have the means for me to do that. I wouldn't know how to juggle work and motherhood! It's hard enough just juggling motherhood! I love the bond Jayson and I have, but it would be nice to be able to pee without him banging on the door crying ha ha ha. One of my goals this year is to stop drinking Dr. Pepper (yes, again), lose some weight and get healthy so I can feel good about trying for another 'little one' by the end of this year =) Jayson needs a playmate and we are itching for another one, but I need to be able to keep up with two!
And YES, we are still going to be sealed in the Temple! We have definitely procrastinated and been distracted, but we are learning to organize our lives better and put first things first. We have chosen to be sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple so my Utah family can attend! It will most likely be on our 4th wedding anniversary (10/13/11).
Jayson is two years old and such a cutie! He has grown so fast and I want it to slow down so I can enjoy it more. He is proving to be a lot like his 'Papa' (my dad). He is very loving and sweet. You can tell he is going to be a little prince charming, or a romantic when he is older. When he tells you he is sorry he feels the need to gently brush your cheek as he says it. It is so sweet and makes me melt every time! He is also quite silly, as most toddlers are, but he has his own way of entertaining adults. Like today he had me put a stuffed moose on his shoulders so he could give it a 'horsey ride' (as my dad calls it). My dad has made a tradition with the grandkids where when it is time to leave Papa's house, the children small enough, get horsey rides on his shoulders (one at a time) out to the car. They all have loved it and Jayson apparently wanted to share the joy with the stuffed moose =) I took a couple pictures of his little 'moosy ride'.

Well I hope you enjoyed this little update, especially you Grandma Nuttall =) I will try to get more pictures posted for you!
Love you all and hope you have a wonderful day!

Yes, I am a delinquent!
I have been thoroughly repremanded by my Grandma for not updating my blog regularly. So here I sit, updating, like a good little granddaughter =)
These are pictures I took tonight right before updating. I just wanted to get some candid shots and that is just what he gave me hahaha. The first one is him carrying his play disposable camera around trying to copy me. The second is of him at the kitchen table being... well, being Jayson =)
Jayson was a Dalmatian puppy for Halloween this year, although he was not too thrilled about it at first, he had warmed up to it by the time we arrived at the Trunk-or-Treat. At the 2nd car we stopped at, Jayson was given M&Ms as his treat and he just held onto it with both hands, staring intently at them for about 5 minutes straight. I am not joking! He didn't even cry for me to open them right away for him, just stared. That all changed once he saw his cousin, Claire. It was time to eat candy and play!
This is quite a common sight when Grandpa and Jayson get together. They tire eachother out from all that play time!
This little boy is quite the ham, and doesn't always cooperate for pictures but we hope you enjoyed what I posted and I will try to take more with a real camera, rather than a cell phone.
